1. Students will be able to design, develop, and secure a dynamic, database-driven website (specifically, a Photographic Terms Dictionary) using web development technologies (HTML, PHP, MySQL) and apply Information Technology skills including cooperative teamwork, self-learning, and critical thinking to solve real-world problems in web programming and data security.
Objectifs d'apprentissage:
1. Design user interfaces for web pages using HTML and Web Expression tools.
2. Write and integrate PHP scripts to manage website functionalities such as searching, deleting, updating, registering users, and session handling.
3. Create and manage MySQL databases to store and retrieve data effectively.
4. Debug and test web pages to ensure correct functionality.
5. Identify and apply methods for securing websites and databases.
6. Implement user authentication features such as sign-in and sign-out pages.
7. Understand and explain common web security concepts and practices.
8. Work cooperatively with classmates to design, code, and troubleshoot the website.
9. Engage in research and apply new knowledge to improve website features and security.
10. Demonstrate critical and varied thinking skills through project-based learning.
11. Document and explain code and procedures clearly.
12. Present findings and learning outcomes collaboratively.
13. Use technological tools to create reports and share results.
